Summary
After graduating from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst I had leadership roles in the UK and abroad. A Commanding Officer on operations, my later roles included MoD policy and Director at the Defence Academy, teaching leadership to the Army’s future leaders. I was the Army’s Head of Employment before moving back to operational delivery. As a Brigadier I was the COO of the UK Headquarters that covered all UK activity.
Subsequently, I led work to advise the US Government on aspects of culture change and have lectured the European Institute, amongst others, on culture change and leadership in large organisations. I was a member of a Business in the Community Board for 9 years and was appointed OBE for my work on culture change in organisations.
Having been a NED, director and advisor in the private sector, I have delivered culture, leadership and change training to large public and private sector organisations. Independently, I led a Government Mental Healthcare Review, delivered organisational change strategy for several large UK organisations and currently sit on senior and policy level grievance boards.
A founder of Insight966, I now work with public and private sector organisations delivering the Leadership Pathway™ and wider leadership, organisational, culture change and diversity development.
