Summary
With over 17 years of working within the industrial roofing and cladding sector, I have built up extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of the industry. I saw an opportunity to help businesses lower their fuel bill and carbon footprint by pairing natural light with daylight harvesting photocell sensors, then in September 2018 I set up Natural Light Solutions to bring the benefits of daylight to business premises.
New technologies such as sun tunnels, daylight harvesting sensors, dimmable LED lighting systems and the improved lifespan of GRP skylights can generate up to 90% savings in costs and promote a much greener and lower carbon solution to industrial and commercial lighting.
There are also multiple ancillary benefits to natural light in the workplace such as increases in productivity, well-being as well as a greater public image.
