If someone can't afford your products do you just say 'bye'?

If someone can't afford your products do you…

Do you have something different you could offer them?

You don't always have to reduce your prices, if your potential customers are interested in buying from you can you offer them something for a cheaper price that may still be suitable?

You should want to try to do the best for anyone who is interested so they come back to you in the future.

For example if you owned a florist and a man was trying to buy a dozen red roses but you charged £50 and he only had £25. What would you do? Would you let him leave empty handed or would you offer something of the same quality but at a cheaper price e.g. fewer roses or a larger bouquet of different flowers.

This can also work when you are providing a service, can you work less hours for them or remove some of the activities they requested?

Just remember whatever you do give your customers, it should always remain at the same quality.

You want to ensure you keep your customers so no matter if you reduce the amount of a product or service always keep to the same high quality you usually provide.

Next Steps...
Think about what other products or services you can offer
Promote these to people if they can't afford your original offer
