Fylde Coast Duo Fired Up Over Training
Two local ladies are shaking up the local training arena and are on a mission to include all local business in their quest for making knowledge sharing and improving skills more accessible.
Jenny Hardman and Cate McNeal, the partners at ‘Hardman McNeal’ have a solid and loyal local following after founding the hugely popular ‘Fylde Coast Business Owners Network’ which now boasts almost a thousand local business owners.
Jenny tells us, “We have been spending a lot of time with owners of small businesses and listening to their needs, really trying to establish the issues they face as well as what would be needed to help them get ahead in business.”
Hardman McNeal are passionate about simplifying the processes of business ownership and self employment, expelling the myths and bringing a new sense of direction to those that need it.
Cate says, “As well as offering our social media drop in clinics, group sessions and workshops, we realised the most effective way of bringing relevant and important information to the masses would be with big ticket events. The reason these events work so well is because they aren’t too corporate or formal, they have the all-important networking element to them, and most importantly they are at a fabulous accommodating venue at an incredible value for money price which is easily accessible to all.”
Jenny adds, “We have so proud and grateful to be able to collaborate with other local companies to facilitate these events, and we have an outstanding events calendar booked in for the next twelve months. The relationship we have with the fantastic EKM Systems Ltd in Preston has been the icing on the cake. Our events are such a good fit there, and we share the same values.”
The latest event from this dynamic duo, was ‘Digital Marketing Works’, a full day session with speaker Neil Simpson, which received rave reviews. The pair are already taking bookings for their follow up event, also with Neil Simpson, which sees the legendary speaker bringing his Linkedin Launchpad system to Lancashire.
“This is what people want, so this is what we’re bringing them! There is such huge scope for local businesses to grow, improve and connect online, but so many don’t have the benefit of training or support in these areas without spending a fortune, until now!” explains Cate.
