What to do when "stuff" happens!
When stuff happens, don't assume you can't do anything about it.
When your life or your career is not quite going to plan don't say, "that's it, I give up," or "why does it always happen to me?"
Instead, take a lesson from my great Uncle Ernest: he always looked forward.
At age 88 when his fridge started flagging he didn't say, as many people say, "it'll see me out" he said "it's time I bought a new fridge."
At age 89 he was still planning what to do in his garden next spring.
Whether it's your life or your career, take the Uncle Ernest approach, never give up on what you can change!
