Businesses could be sitting on thousands in hidden growth, says Lancashire consultancy launching free analysis service

Lancashire-based business consultancy Big Presence has launched a new free service designed to help businesses grow by identifying unused potential within their existing technology systems.

The Growth Gap Analysis is designed to quantify where revenue and efficiency are being lost, and show organisations how to unlock growth without increasing spend.

Renowned for helping organisations fix broken systems, improve visibility and grow through smarter operations, Big Presence developed the service to assess how businesses are using platforms such as HubSpot. It highlights inefficiencies, disconnected systems and missed opportunities already present within existing setups, translating them into clear commercial value.

Rather than recommending new software or additional investment, the service focuses on maximising the value of tools businesses are already paying for.

The Growth Gap Analysis has been developed by Director of Growth Solutions Andy Coles and Commercial Director Jonathan Finch, and is currently being offered on a complimentary basis across three tiers: Foundation, Growth and Scale.

Andy Coles, Director of Growth Solutions at Big Presence, said:

“Most of the businesses we look at are sitting on growth they’ve already paid for. They’ve invested in tech, but they’re using a fraction of it. The Growth Gap Analysis shows them, in hard numbers, what that gap is costing and how quickly it can be closed. The fastest-growing businesses right now are not the ones spending more. They are the ones getting more out of what they already have. That is exactly the gap we help them find.”

Tom Fielden, Director at Service My, said:

"We knew we had some inefficiencies, but the Growth Gap Analysis put it in black and white: where our processes were breaking down, how much time was disappearing into admin, and where the real growth opportunities were across sales and marketing. Genuinely one of the most useful exercises we've done."

Jonathan Finch, Commercial Director at Big Presence, said:

“A lot of businesses don’t realise how much inefficiency is already built into the way they operate. Once you make that visible, the opportunity becomes very clear. This is about helping companies see where value is being lost and giving them a practical way to act on it.”

Big Presence works with ambitious organisations to remove operational friction, connect disconnected systems and improve how sales, marketing and operational data flows across a business.

Most clients do not reach out looking for new technology but because reporting is unclear, processes are inefficient, or growth feels harder than it should.

The Growth Gap Analysis identifies where friction exists, what it is costing, and what closing it could unlock commercially. It takes a strategy first approach, assessing how systems and data are being used before making any recommendations.

Big Presence focuses on clarity and operational improvement rather than technology implementation, making existing systems work properly together.

A key part of the Growth Gap Analysis is identifying practical opportunities for AI and automation within existing workflows, particularly around reporting, lead management and operational efficiency.

Andy Coles said:

“There is a real appetite to use AI properly, but most teams do not know where to start. We focus on where it can actually remove workload and improve results inside their current setup, not in theory, but in practice.”

An interactive calculator has also been introduced to allow organisations to estimate their own potential growth gap before booking a full analysis.

Big Presence says the launch reflects a wider shift in the market, where businesses are increasingly focusing on efficiency, visibility and better use of existing systems rather than additional investment.

The consultancy’s role is to help businesses move from guesswork to clarity by turning operational complexity into actionable insight.

The Growth Gap Analysis is currently available on a complimentary basis and is expected to attract strong demand as businesses look for ways to improve performance without increasing spend.

Businesses interested in accessing the Growth Gap Analysis or using the interactive calculator can do so via the Big Presence website.
