THE PROBLEM:

Covid-19 has been, and still is, a major problem for business.  Every industry and sector has been adversely affected by this virus, from retail to construction, museums to schools.  It has proved to be particularly difficult for businesses and organisations that rely on visits from the general public, such as pubs and bars, restaurants, car showrooms and many more.  Other organisations that require visits might be estate agents, for the sale of houses (though house visits are now allowed) to construction companies.

THE SOLUTION:

One really effective way to fight back is with the use of 360° virtual tours.  These are a series of linked, spherical panoramic photographs that allow the viewer to take a virtual walk-through of whatever space you want them to visit.  Even estate agents, who can now offer in-person, socially distanced viewings, will find virtual tours a great tool for increasing sales and rentals.  Research shows, time and again, that clients, after having seen the virtual tour, are 80% more likely to buy/rent the property. The fact they have already “virtually” preapproved the property is a BIG plus.

They say a picture paints a thousand words; well a 360° panoramic picture paints a million. If you are in the construction industry – you may be an architect or main contractor, an interior designer or you may design and build industrial cold stores – virtual tours can be REALLY useful for progress monitoring, or as part of a digital twin strategy.  For progress monitoring, two tours taken at different times along the project’s timeline can be viewed side-by-side, allowing direct comparison of the same area at different stages, letting you see how far the works have progressed.  It also allows you to pay only for what has been done, not what has been claimed for!  If you work in a BIM environment, a virtual tour can be viewed side-by-side with the BIM model to compare as-built with as-designed.

And all of this is where OnSite 360VR can help.  If your restaurant, bar or fashion outlet is currently closed due to Covid, but looking forward to reopening as soon as possible, then give your customers a reminder of what they’re missing!  Whet their appetite for your products and services.  Make them WANT to come back!  Make them realise just how much they’ve missed you.  Do it with a virtual tour.  Let OnSite 360VR help you bring them back.  Get in touch, and get things moving again!
