Marketing Case Study: Desk 360 Ltd

As we're currently in Lockdown 2, it doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom for small business owners.

Why not look at this time as an opportunity to build your business online?

Do you need a helping hand with marketing your business? Maybe building a website or help with branding?

I’ve been working with a client recently who runs an office installation company.  Read my case study below on how I got their company online and how they’re taking their company forward… (and it didn’t cost them the earth!)

Casestudy: Desk 360 Ltd

Jon and Rachael own an office installation company and for the past 4 years have relied upon word of mouth to keep a steady flow of work.  Their business had no online presence, not even a logo.  They’d been thinking about how to promote their business but didn’t know where to start.

That’s where I come in… we had a chat about where they wanted to take their business…

LOGO
First things first, they needed a logo and brand identity.  So, off I went designing (I love this part, getting my creative juices flowing!)

I was mindful of the psychology of colour and wanted a logo to show reliability and strength.

I designed a few options… We all discussed what we liked and didn’t like about the logos and decided upon the above logo as the chosen one

 I love it!

WEBSITE
Now the logo is sorted, on to the website…

I began to write the copy for the website. When I spoke to Jon and Rachael they were all about offering their customers an unprecedented reliable service.  They provided me with fantastic images of their previous work and testimonials from customers.

When building a website, it’s not just about it looking pretty, it’s also about the legal requirements: cookie and privacy policies, registered company address etc.

I pulled it all together with a few tweaks here and there and voila!

I’m really happy with how it’s turned out but more importantly, Jon and Rachael are too.  Take a look for yourself…

LET'S GET SOCIAL
But the work doesn’t stop there. Social media is a must for small businesses.  So on to building a Facebook business page and a Linkedin page.

I advised Jon and Rachael that Linkedin was a great opportunity for their business as all those office managers, facilities managers that need their services will be on there.

Then on to SEO (search engine optimisation) but that’s a whole new story and a work in progress.

So, if you feel like the time is right to get your business online or you just want a chat about marketing, give me a shout.
