Xero and QuickBooks have been powering small businesses around the world for over a decade. We chose to start our integration journey with Xero and QuickBooks for a number of reasons, but mainly because of the popularity of both platforms with our customers.

Xero offers an all-in-one solution for growing businesses, including payroll management, invoicing, bookkeeping, inventory management and reporting tools. QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based accounting solution that allows users to manage their finances through mobile apps or desktop software. It offers real time insights into bank transactions as well as all other financial details such as sales revenue reports and profit margins compared to previous periods.

Setting up the integration is a simple process that takes minutes. Using the sidebar, you select the option to connect your Volopa account with your accounting system, then simply select which system you want to connect with and give permissions for your accounting system to access your Volopa transactions.

The next step is for you to configure your account. This involves selecting which Volopa cards you wish to sync transactions from and matching your Volopa transaction categories with your account & VAT codes. Once configured, your transactions will appear in the transactions screen, where you can review and sync individual transactions.

When your employees use their Volopa Business cards, their transactions will appear on the transactions page in real time, where they can be synced with your Xero or QuickBooks account with a single click of a button, saving time and reducing errors!
